GEORGE CARLIN'S SOLUTION TO SAVE GASOLINE

Bush wants us to cut the amount of gas we use.
The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants!

That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down.

Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the Border.
When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq .

Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military.
Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it.

After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country.
He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.

This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves.

If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo.

Problem solved.

Congressional Record: May 13, 2008 by Rep. Tom Tancredo

I found both cases (below) offered by Congressman Tom Tancredo very interesting in the fact American taxpaying citizens are either “stupid” or totally not informed of the “butt” kicking they are getting by the so-called leaders of this country, especially the State of California?

The facts are, in my opinion, that we have members of the three branches of our so-called government who are the most dangerous, treasonous corrupt traitors in the United States today…..

Their effort shows me that they are working 24/7 to destroy this Republic and lower our standard of living to equal Third world Status!!!!!

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Under a previous order of the House, the gentleman from Colorado (Mr. Tancredo) is recognized for 5 minutes.

Mr. TANCREDO. Madam Speaker, earlier a gentleman who addressed the House talked about the issue of voter fraud, and he was concerned about the fact that there were States that were actually trying to do something about it using voter IDs in order to make sure that the person who is at the polls is, in fact, who they say they are.

Now, we may think that there is no such thing as voter fraud. The fact is that unfortunately there's an enormous amount of voter fraud. I recalled as I was listening to the gentleman speak on this issue, and I cannot remember now the county, but I remember hearing about a county
that sent out a notice to all of its citizens with regard to being empaneled as jurors. And of course, one of the questions they asked on this is whether or not you were a citizen, and if you checked that, then you were not eligible to sit on a jury.

Well, they then went and took the information apparently and looked at the voter information rolls, and there were hundreds of people that had identified themselves as not citizens for the purpose of serving on a jury because they didn't want to do that, because they were not citizens and they were willing to say so, and on the other hand, they had registered to vote because they also wanted to do that. That was okay with them.

Of course, this is in just one particular county, and as I say, I can't recall it now, but I just was thinking about that as I heard him because there are all kinds of things that are happening throughout this country and have been happening for a long time that attack the
whole concept of citizenship.

We keep taking things away from that idea of what it means to be a citizen, bestowing these same privileges on anyone who happens to be here. Simply a resident, that's all it takes anymore.

There are cities, of course, that call themselves sanctuary cities and allow people who are not even legally present in this country the ability to have all kinds of services, to stay essentially hidden from the authorities because

they have broken the law by entering this country without our permission, but they are given this special sanctuary status, and they were given not only that but a lot of other kinds of benefits. Recently, just as sort of the, I don't know, one of these I can't believe it's true stories that I hear almost every single day, something happened in Los Angeles that really points out again the fact that we are moving ever more closely to making the term ``citizenship''
meaningless.

Madam Speaker, the L.A. Times ran a story about the illegal immigration epidemic in this country and how much it was putting pressure on our most vulnerable citizens, in this case, those awaiting organ transplants. And they picked out one particular individual, a
lady by the name of Ana Puente who was here illegally.

She had already undergone three liver transplants, two in 1989, and a third in 1998, each paid for by taxpayers, in this case, by the taxpayers of California under a program that allows for any individual in California to be eligible for this kind of medical service up until the time that they are 21 years old. And if they are unable to pay for it, the State pays for it.

Well, when Ms. Puente turned 21 last June, she aged out of her taxpayer-funded health insurance in California. So what did she do?

She found out something very interesting. She found out that if she was here illegally, which she was, and notified U.S. Immigration and Customs of that fact, then at that point in time she would be eligible for the service, a free service. She would be eligible for the medical
service that she wanted.

Why? Because illegal aliens in this country are entitled to benefits under the Medi-Cal system. So when she admitted her illegal status in the country, her benefits were restored, and she is now awaiting her fourth transplant at taxpayer expense.

Madam Speaker, what this means is that in California, if you're an illegal alien, you're entitled to taxpayer-funded health care for complex procedures like organ transplants. If you're an American, you may be out of luck. How much money are we talking about? Well, the
average cost of a liver transplant and the first year of follow up runs about $500,000; anti-rejection medications alone can run about $30,000 annually. As we all know well, liver donors are also in scarce supply. In California alone, 4,000 people are awaiting livers.

It is amazing. We all know that the health care system is a triage system. Some things are allowed, some things are available. One of the things that should be considered is legal status in this country.

SENATOR JOHN McCAIN FROM ARIZONA

Senator McCain:
I received your presidential campaign letter today along with the enclosed STAND UP FOR AMERICA SURVEY so I immediately made the decision to answer right now.

Really I am not sure, but it is my understanding if there is not a check in the envelope a true politician feels there is “no” real future in reading the in-coming mail.
There is “no” check…..

You have several problems why American taxpaying citizens can’t vote for you, and I must admit this family is having a hard time making that decision. The conflict is not Democrat and Republican, it is to sponsor you are not even vote at all? Still “no” check?

The letter, the survey, made no mention of any illegal aliens or immigration concerns. In some areas it is the number one issue in the United States today. Speaking of today, the decision was finally made to not ”sneak” amnesty for farm workers, sheep herders, goat herders, etc., in the Iraq Supplemental Funding Bill. I found it appalling that the Senate Appropriations Committee would allow Feinstein and Craig to try and hijack the Iraq Bill with a amnesty proposal. This was insulting to American servicemen and servicewomen.

The facts are this, “What is the problem in Washington, D.C., what part of ‘illegal’ don’t the so-called leaders understand?” Is it fear of war with Mexico? Why is it not one of you presidential candidates are willing to discuss the huge economic impact that immigration, especially illegal immigration has on our nation. The immigration crisis that confronts our nation today significantly impacts many other aspects of the United States.

At the top of the list are national security, criminal justice, the economy, health care and education. Mr. Edwin Rubinstein’s report notes that 15 federal agencies are significantly impacted by immigration and stated that the overall cost to the federal government last year was 346 billion dollars!

Stop the rhetoric, American taxpaying citizens don’t want illegal aliens, unlimited uneducated, unskilled cheap labor, temporary or guest worker amnesty, desease, 50-million more anchor babies, welfare, food stamps. Stop all immigration for a year, give this country some time off, let America breath some fresh air and back on our feet.

HATRED - America is really loved.....

I received the following e-mail two years ago, paid little attention to it, but now with our fascist government working 24/7, especially after midnight, to destroy this once great country, which of the following are not true?

With three socialist presidential candidates lining up for the top U.S. office what part of the following remarks will hold true in our future?

The Pew Hispanic Research Center just reported the U.S. population will increase by 142 million by the year 2050, which I don’t think the year model is true. In my opinion, it will be much sooner. What about SPP in yr. 2010?

Some of the following foreign brain trust say, “in the 20 years, Latino’s will be in control…..” Pew did say, ‘only 50 million will be anchor babies,‘ but I don’t think that is a problem, they will be taken care of, compliments of the American taxpayers. (America loves to give: "freebee's")

Are these just the words of a few extremists? Consider that we could fill up many pages with such quotes. Also, consider that these are mainstream Mexican leaders.

THE U.S. VS MEXICO: On February 15, 1998, the U.S. and Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country.
They booed during the National Anthem and U.S. flags were held upside down. As the match progressed, supporters of the U.S. team were insulted, pelted with projectiles, punched and spat upon. Beer and trash were thrown at the U.S. players before and after the match. The coach of the U.S. team, Steve Sampson said, "This was the most painful experience I have ever had in this profession."

Did you know that immigrants from Mexico and other non-European countries can come to this country and get preferences in jobs, education, and government contracts? It's called affirmative action or racial privilege.

The Emperor of Japan or the President of Mexico could migrate here and immediately be eligible for special rights unavailable for Americans of European descent. Recently, a vote was taken in the U.S. Congress to end this practice. It was defeated.

Every single Democratic senator except Ernest Hollings voted to maintain special privileges for Hispanic, Asian and African immigrants. They were joined by thirteen Republicans. Bill Clinton and Al Gore have repeatedly stated that they believe that massive immigration from countries like Mexico is good. They have also backed special privileges for these immigrants.

A Citizens View by Robert B. Murray

Do you smell that foul odor emanating from the halls of government? Everyone knows our government was formed by the people, specifically for the people, and is governed by the rule of law. So surely it cannot be from the “sweetheart deals” made between our leaders and their corporate sponsors, but there it is right under everyone’s noses. Our leaders have transformed the words “for the people” into “for the corporations.” We the people are no longer relevant.

At all levels of government ties to corporations have become so pervasive the people have little or no say in anything that counters corporate interests. Rather than protecting the people’s interest, government has become the willing partner to further corporate ends. The sole purpose of government, at all levels, seems to exist only to support business and their quest for greater profit. We see this by the constant push by government to grow our nation both in terms of more people whether legally or illegally, and the economy. There is little concern about the cost of growth as long as government and corporations share the wealth at the expense of the people.

Whole state departments are devoted to encouraging growth of their respective states. Nearly every facet of business has a number of large groups devoted to insuring they are well cared for by Congress. Collectively, the voices of business drown out the cries of the people for tax relief because government conveniently assumes we are responsible for growth so we should pay for it. Government also assumes that business needs tax breaks, grants, low cost insurance, direct loans, trade protection, unjustified special interest loopholes in the tax code, and other incentives or economic growth will cease. And, also, their own selfish interests would wither.

Our founding fathers created a system of free enterprise in which government was to stay out of the way of business. Unfortunately, government had, without the people’s consent, devised a fascist system (“the corporate state”) patterned after that of Benito Mussolini. The corporate welfare system is mutually beneficial for both government and business. The former gains power, while the latter gains greater wealth and also power to impose their will on the people.

No matter how you look at it, we the people are being scammed, fleeced, by our government to the tune of billions of dollars in corporate subsidies. Why should we be subsidizing ethanol production when it takes more energy to produce ethanol than we gain? Should we the people subsidize global corporations by contributing our tax monies to the Export-Import Bank, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the International Monetary Fund, or in fact any subsidies? It’s beyond comprehension why we the people must endure $4.00 gasoline while corporate oil companies enjoy billions in profit, while receiving subsidies.

When will government realize that our Constitution is our supreme law and act accordingly? The preamble says, “We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America..”

The chaos created by those of greed and power are destroying our Constitution.. It is time for the citizens to awake to the realities of what is happening by special interests, the desire for socializing the country, destruction and ignoring of our laws, and for each one of us to understand the consequences of our inactions to stop this assault on our sovereignty. Let’s rid the stench, now!

Opinion - New York Times - What Social Security Isn’t Meant to Do

Today The New York Times posted an "Opinion" article on how "disgusted" they are about the "SAVE Act" and what harm it will do to the immigration problem. The Times is so pro-illegal-alien it can't understand why aliens can't have everything plus, by all means, should not have to be a citizen of the United States to work? This comment was made.....

"the Social Security database is rotten with errors"

If the SS database is rotten with errors, what does THAT mean for the increased use as baby boomers retire? There is no better way to clean up a database than rigorous use, correcting errors as they are found. If you are a person about to apply for SS in a few years, when would you like to find an error in your SS records, now or after you've made plans to retire, quit your job, and will depend on SS to help you live?

All of this is simply the Main Stream Media's feeble attempt to justify amnesty. Grant illegal aliens amnesty (aka a path to citizenship, a way out of the shadows, etc) and the problem is "solved"; and the Social Security file, "rotten with errors", never gets fixed.The SAVE Act allows a time period for a mismatch to be corrected; and in most states a person can be fired, period. The employer doesn't NEED an excuse. "I no longer need your services" will do.

This was pointed out REPEATEDLY in the last NYT editorial on this subject in the comments section.What you aren't hearing is that these errors could have been well on their way to being fixed if SS and the IRS had coordinated carefully together and had informed people when their SS # was likely being used unlawfully. Most people find out about this only when they receive a bill from the IRS for taxes on money earned by somebody - or more than one somebody - using their SS # unlawfully.There are errors in the IRS database and in the SS database - I've had to get my own record corrected - and IF you are on the level, it usually doesn't take long to correct them.

Is the NYT suggesting that we stop collecting taxes and paying SS benefits until these files are 100% perfect? Of course not.

This is a non-issue. Pass the SAVE Act and let's get the job of verifying legality done. And let's let our legislators know that we want this to happen NOW. And let's also remember in November if they fail to do so.

NEW IDAHO TO GET LAUGHABLE "MATRICULAR CONSULAR I.D. CARD

In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a migration deal with Mexico was tabled while attention turned to homeland security. So the Mexican government abruptly changed its White House strategy and substituted a grass-roots approach that would focus at the local level, seek small successes, and build momentum for congressional action. The linchpin for this new strategy was to be the “matricula consular,” an official identity card issued by the Mexican government, which it wanted to be officially recognized within the United States.
This Backgrounder is the first detailed examination of the matricula issue. Among the findings:
* The matricula consular is useful in the United States only for illegal aliens, since legal immigrants, by definition, have U.S. government-issued documents.
* The Mexican government has launched an aggressive grassroots lobbying campaign to win acceptance for its matricula card from state and local jurisdictions and from banks, especially in areas where Mexican illegal aliens are concentrated.
* The objective of this lobbying effort is to achieve quasi-legal status for Mexican illegals in the United States without waiting for action from Washington.
* The matricula itself, however, is useful to illegal aliens only insofar as U.S. institutions are willing to collaborate with Mexico’s efforts to circumvent U.S. immigration law.
* While many jurisdictions have resisted pressure from the Mexican government, others have not; the matricula is now accepted by 800 local law enforcement agencies and 74 banks, as well as by 13 states for purposes of obtaining a driver’s license.
* Not only does the matricula subvert U.S. immigration law, it is not even a secure identity document. Mexico is not authenticating the documents used to obtain the matricula against computerized data files in Mexico.
* Safeguards are not in place to prevent multiple issuance of matriculas to the same individual; in fact, the INS has already reported finding multiple cards in different names issued to the same person.
* The matricula is becoming a shield that hides criminal activity for two reasons: first, the holder’s identity was not verified when the card was issued, and second, police in jurisdictions that accept the matricula are less likely to run background checks on card holders picked up for minor infractions.
* The U.S. Treasury Department has given its approval to banks to accept the matricula for opening bank accounts.
* The acceptance of Mexico’s matricula consular sets a precedent, making it almost impossible to reject similar cards presented by illegal aliens from other countries, including those which have sent terrorists to the United States in the past.
Early in September 2001, the Mexican government had every expectation that it would soon achieve its principal foreign policy goal — a comprehensive migration agreement with the United States that would create new guest worker programs, exempt Mexico from visa limits, and “regularize” the immigration status of the estimated three to five million Mexicans already living in the United States illegally.
After 9/11, public and congressional opposition in the United States to an illegal-alien amnesty hardened and made such a deal impossible. In its place, Mexico sought piecemeal changes, centered on gaining acceptance in the United States for the “matricula consular.” But Mexico’s new approach has become a direct challenge to U.S. sovereignty — by aggressively lobbying state and local governments, Mexico is changing America’s de facto immigration policy in lieu of congressional action. And it has been doing so while the U.S. government watched — or even gave its tacit consent.

December 18, 2005, The Idaho Press-Tribune reporter Ben Fletcher wrote: "If the Undocumented stayed out of Jail they will not be deported," he went on to say that Canyon County, Idaho is a safe haven for illegal immigrants......

I guess maybe now, you could say, Idaho might be a sanctuary for illegal aliens? Maybe?
