WHERE’S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE…..

Contrary to the supposition of Ray Heidt that the eligibility of Barack Obama to serve as President has been proven, the question of Obama’s meeting the requirement of "natural-born citizen" is still very debatable..

1) No hospital has released a vaulted, long form Birth Certificate.

2) A Certification of Live Birth (COLB) has been posted on many websites. This is not the Same as a Birth Certificate. The COLB posted online and widely touted as Obama's "birth certificate" does not prove he was born in Hawaii, since the COLB is easily obtainable for children not born in Hawaii. The true birth certificate – which includes the name of the birth hospital and attending physician – is the only document that can prove Obama was born in Hawaii, but to date he has not permitted its release for public or press scrutiny.

3) There also are questions raised about Obama's move to Indonesia when he was a child and his attendance at school where only Indonesian citizens were allowed. Was he an Indonesian citizen? Did he use an Indonesian passport when he traveled to Pakistan in the ’80s? U.S. citizens were not permitted to travel to Pakistan.

4) Berg vs. Obama, 3rd U.S. Court of Appeals case No. 088-4340 is anticipated for arguments to be heard this September or October.

5) There are approximately 19 cases pending in 17 states requesting eligibility proof. More are anticipated.

Regardless of one’s political leanings, emphasis should be to uphold the intent of
Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution. This requires a United States President to be a natural-born citizen. Hundreds of thousands of reasonable (emphasis on reasonable) citizens have signed petitions requesting proof of Obama’s ability to meet this requirement.
Obama could put the issue to rest by authorizing release of his official documentation.

In my opinion our government has not changed, nor is it likely to change, in a way that will eliminate socialistic programs that will bankrupt us. Also, their collusion with corporations to grant the latter freedom to globalize at the expense of our people is likely the root cause of many of our financial problems. They as well have become partners in the government scheme to get illegal aliens firmly entrenched in our country. What better way that allowing them to purchase homes and roam freely throughout the land. My opinion expressed here is more general and expresses the view that the current administration will not cause a change for the better, especially if it continues to push for amnesty and other socialistic programs.

We the people are going to face a real calamity when the bills come due.

FDR was right, “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.” Why should any of us believe otherwise? The evidence has mounted since even before his time, those in government colluding with industry, has sought more money and power. The results are undeniable that “we the people” serve no other purpose than to provide treasure for these elites so that they can continue plundering and pillaging the treasury.

The current administration will not provide relief, because the new players are mere operatives in the grand scheme. Although, the elites allowed many candidates to vie for the Presidency, along the way most were eliminated as they did not embrace the proper view. As with recent contests, the two activists who would best serve elitist interests were pitted against one another. As the tragedy unfolded, one was anointed by the media, while the other eagerly accepted his role as loser. The masses were mesmerized by the steady chants of “hope,” “Yes we can,” and “Change we can believe in.” Few understood what they were cheering for nor the consequences they would unleash.

Obviously, our real dilemma is with those who have invaded the government as agents of change, and not for the benefits of the people they supposedly serve. For decades now, our leaders’ visions were counter to our wishes. They have brought forth socialist, communistic, and fascist programs, like social security, welfare, and agricultural subsidies. They control and manipulate the economy by allowing massive influxes of legal and illegal aliens. Their educational programs have corrupted our ability to think and reason, while destroying our will to resist. They have nearly bankrupted the nation and the people through their greed. They have complete authority over our lives, and when their monetary schemes fail “we the people” are told to provide for those that caused the problem.

The corruption has become so pervasive that we have accepted it as normal. Consider, how Presidents have gradually assumed powers not delegated to them by the Constitution. We have allowed Congress to raid the treasury in order to effect the shift from a Republic to a fascist state and never question when the judiciary makes unconstitutional rulings. We have sat idly by when the Constitution or its Amendments have been abused, ignored, or purposely misinterpreted by the President, his administration, Congress, or the Judiciary. Our system of “checks and balances” has been allowed to collapse, as no one in the three branches has courage to challenge the power structure.

Sadly, the majority of the people are apathetic, ignorant, brainwashed, or are accepting of the corruption by leaders in our current system. Most people fail to understand it is their responsibility to protect the Constitution from false interpretations and outright changes through legislation or edict. If your one of the majority consider supporting a change back to a Constitutional government. This is real change I can believe in, not the socialistic programs the current administration will be offering.

The story of America, when finally written, will be one of a people struggling to go from rags to riches, and of the few who rose to the top and destroyed the rest. All the rhetoric about a nation of opportunity is merely fiction for most. In order to rise to the highest levels one's ambition must be greater than the love for our fellow man or country. One has to abandon all ethics, morals, and commit to a secular god of greed and power.

Mega-corporations, led by intertwined individuals, define the rules how nations will act and the amount they must pay. These individuals control the aspiring novices and only allow the most dedicated to rise from the local level. As these youngsters are impregnated with the rules, and then show their loyalties to the cause, they may advance. Importantly they must be willing to embrace the very essence of "getting-ahead", i. e. complete obedience to economic growth regardless of consequence. It is the amount that one can bring to the coffers that matters, regardless of how achieved, or whether the result is detrimental to man or his environment. The end, acquiring and amassing wealth, justifies the means.

Blindly our nation has turned over it's leadership to incompetents, or perhaps more accurately, willing partisans eager to gain both favor of their bosses and financial benefit. By these miscreants, and with help from the mighty nine Black Robes, Lincoln's words have been transformed into "of the corporation, by the corporation, and for the corporation." We the people have been cast aside and relieved of our Constitutional status.

These misanthropes find hate in Madison's words "That government is instituted and ought to be exercised for the benefit of the people." Now, they see the only purpose for the people, is to provide the wherewithal so that government can fulfill the needs of global corporations. Therefore, Congress writes the laws following the dictates of corporations. When satisfied the corporation will benefit, Congress meets to bestow their blessings. The Constitution is gladly abused, set-aside, or ignored by government if it does not conform to the wishes of those who stand to gain and have the power to control the outcome. How do we know, by none other than that authority Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who explains "In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way."

Can we say that innocently, without malice, global corporations are victims of a world-wide crash of markets, lending institutions etc.? Here we are bailing out international banks, auto giants, and other world wide conglomerates, why? The answer B. Hussein Obama has given you, via Joe the Plumber, "To redistribute the wealth." What he didn't tell Joe it was to continue the Bush doctrine of taking from the poorer and giving to the richer. What easier way to institute the corporate elite plan of a new world order; destroy America by making us dependent on foreign nations.

"As Henry Kissinger recently put it, when he was celebrating U.S.-China relations on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, Obama's mission is to usher in a "New World Order." He forgot to mention, of course, that it is a China-dominated New World Order in which the U.S. has become a subsidiary of China, Inc.," (www.newswithviews.com/Kincaid/cliff288.htm).

If you doubt, investigate for yourself the interconnectedness of Obama's team, Geithner, Volcker, Summers et al., and their worldly views and whom they truly represent. And you think Obama will bring change and hope?

CONFUSED: IS HE? ARE IS HE NOT?

Hello Everyone:

I am amazed how things are working in Washington D.C. Mr. Obama aka Mr. Soetoro has been sued to present evidence of his eligiblity to be President. Some cases have been visited by the Supreme Court and other are pending including one that was brought before Justice Roberts. How can he call for a private meeting with the defendant without witnesses or even having to reveal the nature of his talks? We will never know whether Justice Roberts and endorsed Obama without comment as the court has done with several cases before them. There is some skullduggery here.

CBS News reported that Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, John G. Roberts, Jr., would meet in private with impostor president elect, Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro and so forth, on January 14, 2009:

"At the invitation of Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., Mr. Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden will pay a protocol visit to the Supreme Court of the United States Wednesday afternoon, the office says....The visit is private; reporters and photographers will not be present."

I called the media number at the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon. The giddy operator confirmed they expected Obama at any minute!

To say I was floored when I read the news item is an understatement. A 'ceremonial' meeting between a president elect and justices of the Supreme Court is somewhat traditional.

HOWEVER, in this instance, it's flat out wrong. Chief Justice Roberts has cases on the docket where Obama is the defendant or is the subject of the litigation. Roberts and the other eight justices have already held two 'Distribution for Conferences' on the Donofrio and Wrotnoski cases on Obama's citizenship ineligibility. They just turned away one of Phil Berg's cases a few days ago; that one is still in the Third Circuit.

Tomorrow is the fourth case; another from Phil Berg.

On Wednesday, Roberts meets with the man at the heart of that case in private. Two days later, he sits down to discuss the case with the other justices after having a closed door meeting with the defendant!

There is still the Lightfoot v Bowen case to be heard in conference, January 23, 2009. Again, Chief Justice Roberts will sit in that private meeting to discuss whether the case should go to oral arguments.

Does anyone see major conflict of interest here? How can Chief Justice Roberts meet with Obama behind closed doors under such circumstances? Even if they just chatted up the weather, it is highly inappropriate in my humble opinion. Roberts should have notified Obama that under the circumstances, he would not be able to meet with him, private or with photogs in attendance.

There must be zero appearance of any bias or preference when it comes to judges and justices of the Supreme Court.

A Boss Who Tells it Like it Is ...

To All My Valued Employees,

There have been some rumblings around the office about the future of this company, and more specifically, your job. As you know, the economy has changed for the worse and presents many challenges. However, the good news is this: The economy doesn't pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is the changing political landscape in this country.

However, let me tell you some little tidbits of fact which might help you decide what is in your best interests.

First, while it is easy to spew rhetoric that casts employers against employees, you have to understand that for every business owner there is a back story. This back story is often neglected and overshadowed by what you see and hear. Sure, you see me park my Mercedes outside. You've seen my big home at last years Christmas party. I'm sure; all these flashy icons of luxury conjure up some idealized thoughts about my life.

However, what you don't see is the back story.

I started this company 28 years ago. At that time, I lived in a 300 square foot studio apartment for 3 years. My entire living apartment was converted into an office so I could put forth 100% effort into building a company, which by the way, would eventually employ you.

My diet consisted of Ramen Pride noodles because every dollar I spent went back into this company. I drove a rusty Toyota Corolla with a defective transmission. I didn't have time to date. Often times, I stayed home on weekends, while my friends went out drinking and partying. In fact, I was married to my business - hard work, discipline, and sacrifice.

Meanwhile, my friends got jobs. They worked 40 hours a week and made a modest $50K a year and spent every dime they earned. They drove flashy cars and lived in expensive homes and wore fancy designer clothes. Instead of hitting the Nordstrom's for the latest hot fashion item, I was trolling through the discount store extracting any clothing item that didn't look like it was birthed in the 70's. My friends refinanced their mortgages and lived a life of luxury. I, however, did not. I put my time, my money, and my life into a business with a vision that eventually, some day, I too, will be able to afford these luxuries my friends supposedly had.

So, while you physically arrive at the office at 9am, mentally check in at about noon, and then leave at 5pm, I don't. There is no "off" button for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend all to yourself. I unfortunately do not have the freedom. I eat, and breathe this company every minute of the day. There is no rest. There is no weekend. There is no happy hour. Every day this business is attached to my hip like a 1 year old special-needs child. You, of course, only see the fruits of that garden - the nice house, the Mercedes, the vacations ... you never realize the back story and the sacrifices I've made.

Now, the economy is falling apart and I, the guy that made all the right decisions and saved his money, have to bail-out all the people who didn't. The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed a decade of my life for.

Yes, business ownership has is benefits but the price I've paid is steep and not without wounds.

Unfortunately, the cost of running this business, and employing you, is starting to eclipse the threshold of marginal benefit and let me tell you why:

I am being taxed to death and the government thinks I don't pay enough. I have state taxes. Federal taxes. Property taxes. Sales and use taxes. Payroll taxes. Workers compensation taxes. Unemployment taxes. Taxes on taxes. I have to hire a tax man to manage all these taxes and then guess what? I have to pay taxes for employing him. Government mandates and regulations and all the accounting that goes with it, now occupy most of my time. On Oct 15th, I wrote a check to the US Treasury for $288,000 for quarterly taxes. You know what my "stimulus" check was? Zero. Nada. Zilch.

The question I have is this: Who is stimulating the economy? Me, the guy who has provided 14 people good paying jobs and serves over 2,200,000 people per year with a flourishing business? Or, the single mother sitting at home pregnant with her fourth child waiting for her next welfare check? Obviously, government feels the latter is the economic stimulus of this country.

The fact is, if I deducted (Read: Stole) 50% of your paycheck you'd quit and you wouldn't work here. I mean, why should you? That's nuts. Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, I agree which is why your job is in jeopardy.

Here is what many of you don't understand ... to stimulate the economy you need to stimulate what runs the economy. Had suddenly government mandated to me that I didn't need to pay taxes, guess what? Instead of depositing that $288,000 into the Washington black-hole, I would have spent it, hired more employees, and generated substantial economic growth. My employees would have enjoyed the wealth of that tax cut in the form of promotions and better salaries. But you can forget it now.

When you have a comatose man on the verge of death, you don't defibrillate and shock his thumb thinking that will bring him back to life, do you? Or, do you defibrillate his heart? Business is at the heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate it, not kill it. Suddenly, the power brokers in Washington believe the poor of America are the essential drivers of the American economic engine. Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change you can keep.

So where am I going with all this?

It's quite simple.

If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, my reaction will be swift and simple. I fire you. I fire your co-workers. You can then plead with the government to pay for your mortgage, your SUV, and your child's future. Frankly, it isn't my problem any more.

Then, I will close this company down, move to another country, and retire. You see, I'm done. I'm done with a country that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, will be my citizenship.

So, if you lose your job, it won't be at the hands of the economy; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country, steamrolled the constitution, and will have changed its landscape forever. If that happens, you can find me sitting on a beach, retired, and with no employees to worry about ...

Do we need a Constitution, or just some non-binding words that we can change whenever the government so decides? Isn’t the current President-elect Obama advocating just that? He has made it rather plain that he believes the Constitution is a living document and should be changed to fit today’s situations. Rather blatant, but he is not the first wanting, and actually, trashing the intent of the Constitution.

In 1913, under Woodrow Wilson we got an unconstitutional Federal Reserve System and the direct, un-apportioned tax on labor. We have had, and are having, numerous unconstitutional wars under various Presidents. George Bush, in his tenure, completely ignored his responsibility to protect the nation from invasion, invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, signed the Patriot Act, is in the midst of astronomical bailouts, is developing a North American Union and a monstrous police state. All being unconstitutional. Just as flagrant, Obama may be lying about his Constitutional eligibility and risking perjury to be President.

There are three requirements outlined in our Constitution for President (Article II, Section 1;
1) be a natural born citizen,
2) be 35 years of age,
3) have been a resident for fourteen years.
This means one must have been born in the United States to two parents that are U.S. citizens. Clearly, the framers wished to exclude persons who may have divided loyalties, through one or more parents born in foreign nations.

By posting a Certification of Live Birth on his website, Obama surely hoped that no one would notice that the document is insufficient proof of his birth location. Without a vault copy showing the name of the hospital, physicians name, and names of any witnesses we have no verification he was born in the U.S. At the time resident mothers could register their foreign born child as Hawaiian. Even if he can prove to have been born in Hawaii he is still not considered natural born.

Judge Gray quoting from Minor vs. Happersett, in Wong Kim Ark wrote, “... it was never doubted that all children born in a country, of parents who were its citizens, became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born-citizens as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.” At Obama’s website Fight the Smears, he admitted “As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr., was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.’s son.”

Since Sandra Ann (Dunham) Obama married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen, whom adopted Barack Obama the question is whether Barack is a dual citizen.

Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro, aka Barry Obama, aka Barack Dunham, aka Barry Dunham is without question an alien. He was not a natural born citizen at birth. A perfect opportunity for the destroyers would be a constitutional convention to get rid of the citizenship clause, thus ensuring that impostor Obama would remain as an illegitimate president. From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

'If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

That is because President-Elect Obama must choose between several sets of contradictory campaign promises.

If a small army of committed citizens can force the news media and politicians to look at the contradictions, I think maybe we will be fine. But as we know, that is a “big if!”

Will he officially prove he is a real citizen of the United States?

Will he honor the barely whispered perfunctory campaign pledges to offer U.S. citizenship to an estimated 7 million illegal foreign workers, plus their 5 to13 million illegal alien relatives?

Or will he honor what has appeared to be his loudest shouted priority to put Americans back to work?

We know that Obama -- like McCain -- in his heart of hearts wants to help out the illegal aliens.

But every illegal foreign worker given amnesty permanently ties up a U.S. job that an unemployed U.S.-born worker or long-time legal immigrant is seeking in these hard times.

SOME GOOD OBAMA PROMISES WE CAN SUPPORT Whatever the Obama campaign may have said about immigration before the stock market crash, his priorities have clearly changed and immigration policy will have to serve his top priority of getting American workers back into jobs that offer decent wages and benefits, especially health insurance.

I certainly hope that every Obama Administration action on immigration -- including enforcement, regulations and proposals to Congress -- will be weighed for its effect on the growing number of American workers out of work.

Here are two great Obama campaign themes that he emphasized a lot more than his support for amnesty:
He expressed strong support for E-Verify and keeping illegal aliens out of jobs that American workers so desperately need. And he stated his commitment to holding employers accountable if they hire illegal workers. His campaign website, BarackObama.com, says, "To remove incentives to enter the country illegally, we need to crack down on employers that hire undocumented immigrants."

The website also brags about an amendment that Obama cosponsored with Senators Charles Grassley (R-IA), Ted Kennedy (D-MA) and Max Baucus (D-MT) to ensure that "employers can verify that their employees are legally eligible to work in the U.S."

In a Dear Colleague letter sent to all Senators about this amendment, Obama said he "strongly supports creating an effective, mandatory employment verification system for all employers to verify the legal status of their workers."

Thus, Obama has shown his support for what ought to be the first, second and third actions of his Presidency: Can taxpaying American citizens tell Democratic congressional leaders to stop bottling up the E-Verify reauthorization and pass it without the additions of hundreds of thousands of foreign workers sought by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Sen. Menendez (D-N.J.). (After this election landside, I don’t think this will happen)

Begin working with Democrat Rep. Heath Shuler of North Carolina to pass his SAVE Act that would provide the phased-in mandatory verification system that Obama supported in his letter to all Senators.

Open up tens of thousands of jobs for Americans by stating even before he is sworn in that he will continue the new Executive Order requiring all federal contractors to use E-Verify to keep illegal aliens out of those jobs..

If Obama follows his own instincts and past words of support for turning off the jobs magnet for illegal immigration, he potentially will open up millions of jobs for millions of unemployed Americans. This would be the cheapest, fastest job-creation program he has any chance of achieving.

Or he can choose to favor illegal foreign workers and turn his back on unemployed Americans. In the current economic climate, it now seems logically inconceivable that Obama would consider proposing an amnesty or any other legalization program that would permanently remove an estimated 7 million jobs from America's legitimate workers while nearly 10 million Americans are actively searching for jobs and can't find them, mostly in the same construction, service and manufacturing fields.

WOULD AMERICANS REALLY TAKE JOBS ILLEGAL ALIENS DO?

Of course, the elitist view is that unemployed Americans wouldn't do the jobs that illegal aliens now fill.

With few exceptions, this demonstrably is not true.

As the Center for Immigration Studies has often shown in analyzing U.S. Department of Labor data, all but one of the several hundred occupations tracked have a majority workforce of native-born Americans.

The only exception is agricultural pickers. Some people estimate that as many as 1 million pickers are illegal aliens. Various government studies have concluded that the U.S. actually has enough legal pickers (mostly foreign-born but legal immigrants) to harvest the crops if they were deployed in a better fashion that allowed them to work a longer part of the year and make more money. But if E-Verify were made mandatory, the likelihood is that growers would fill the illegal alien jobs with legal temporary foreign workers.

That would still leave around 6 million illegal aliens with jobs mainly in construction, service and manufacturing occupations, all of which are mainly filled with U.S. born citizens.

Not only are nearly 10 million Americans actively searching for jobs but failing to find them, but there are around 25 million American working-age adults with no more than a high school education who do not have a job. (The number is much higher than the 10 million official unemployment figure because that figure only includes people who have actively sought a job in the last month.)

These lesser-educated Americans who are outside of the labor market are precisely the people who would be helped if the 6 million illegal aliens not in agriculture were to be forced to give up their jobs. The idea is deport, not support illegal aliens, criminal invaders......

WE HAVE LOTS OF WORK TO DO,

I suspect the numbers are staggering. Nine houses on my block alone were abandoned after the employer sanctions law went into effect.

I lived next to one of these families for 6 months. I assure those “politicians” and alien sympathizers on this list that it was no picnic and a time that was rife with suspicion and fear.

When they abandoned their house they trashed it. Today I constantly have to look for people passing through and congregating in the backyard of that vacant home.

Not the best environment for raising children I can assure you all.

Thanks to my government, the single largest investment in my life (my home of 15 years) is losing value…soon my 401K and investments won’t be worth hardly a damn as we bail out the jackasses who made the bad loans to those people Americans wanted removed from our nation in the first place ..Nice work! Could I find anyplace more suitable to live in this world, I’d move from the land I served and let the globalists and socialists have at it without my opposition.

Unfortunately, I don’t have millions to move or several houses to choose from like Obama, McCain or any of the politicians, so I’m stuck in this cesspool they’ve supported and helped to create.

If somehow the founding fathers could be here now to see what these people have done to their experiment, I am certain that they not only would be appalled but that revolution would already be afoot.

American Taxpaying Citizens:

Do you smell that foul odor emanating from the halls of government? Everyone knows our government was formed by the people, specifically for the people, and is governed by the rule of law. So surely that smell cannot be from the “sweetheart deals” made between our leaders and their corporate sponsors. Yet there, right under everyone’s noses, our leaders have transformed the words “for the people” into “for the corporations.” We the people are no longer relevant!

Government ties to corporations have become so pervasive the people have little or no say in anything that counters corporate interests. Rather, than protecting the people’s interest government has become the willing partner to further corporate ends. The sole purpose of government, at all levels, seems to exist only to support business and their quest for greater profit. We see this by the constant push by government to grow our nation, both in terms of more people whether legally or illegally and the economy. There is little concern about the cost of growth as long as government and corporations share the wealth at the expense of the people.

Whole commerce departments are devoted to encouraging growth of their respective states.

Nearly every facet of business has a large number of groups devoted to insuring they are well cared for by Congress. Collectively, the voices of business drown out the cries of the people for tax relief, because government conveniently assumes we are responsible for growth so we should pay for it. Government also assumes that business needs tax breaks, grants, low cost insurance, direct loans, trade protection, unjustified special interest loopholes in the tax code, and other incentives or economic growth will cease. And, also their own selfish interests would wither.

Our founding fathers created a system of free enterprise, in which government was to stay out of the way of business. Unfortunately, government had without the people’s consent, devised a fascist system “the corporate state” patterned after that of Benito Mussolini. This corporate welfare system is mutually beneficial for both government and business.

The former gains power, while the latter gains greater wealth and also power to impose their will on the people. No matter how you look at it, we the people are being scammed, fleeced, by our government to the tune of billions of dollars in corporate subsidies.

Behind the scenes even greater evil lurks. Our own president, apparently without the approval of the people or Congress, has decided that the United States no longer needs to be an independent nation. In cahoots with giant global corporations our government is spending millions of our tax dollars to disassemble our borders and unite us in one happy North American community. Can you guess why the border fence is not being built?

The chaos created by those of greed and powers are destroying our nation. Citizens must awake to the realities of what is happening by special interests and their desire for socializing the country and bringing us into a one world government.

E-Verify has been around for over 12 years now and has been studied by Congress and universities on multiple occasions. The E-Verify system is now used by 70,000 employers nationwide and handles one of every eight new hires. In other words, E-Verify works. Over four million applicants passed through the E-Verify system this year, and 99.5 percent of them were cleared automatically.

The system has worked so well for businesses and workers that the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) has endorsed it and several state and local governments have made E-Verify mandatory for their employees and contractors.

By failing to pass the SAVE Act, Congress is moving in the opposite direction of the rest of the country, which has all but given up on the federal governments' ability or willingness to address illegal immigration. It isn't too late to make something happen during the 110th Congress. The best way for you to put yourself on the right side of history is to co-sponsor the SAVE Act today.

This U.S. Senate wants Amnesty, they have illegal alien amnesty, less then 1% of the 20 to 30 million illegal aliens have been picked up, American taxpaying citizens have no true count how many deported, I would not believe DHS anyhow.

Now you should be proud, the the two socialist presidential candidates have gained momentum, Universal Health Care? One illegal alien criminal in Idaho 30 days entitled to indigency aid to the tune of $187,000. Residency doesn’t hinge on criminal alien status?

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the 'complacency and apathy' phase of Professor Tyler 's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the 'government al dependency' phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. (AP) - A Yamhill County grand jury indictment says a 26-year-old man has admitted drinking beer before a crash on Mother’s Day that killed a mother of seven.

Authorities say Leonel Zurita-Loeza of Portland had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.

They say he was on diversion from a DUI charge and the car he was using had an emergency spare rated for 50 mph driving.

He’s charged with manslaughter and assault, among other counts. He’s being held on $1 million bail.

Immigration authorities have placed him under a federal detainer because he is in the country illegally.

The crash killed 52-year-old Carma Smith of Dayton, a long-time rural mail carrier. She had just celebrated her 33rd wedding anniversary.

The following 'speech' was written recently by an ordinary Maineiac [a resident of the People's Republic of Maine]. While satirical in nature, all satire must have a basis in fact to be effective. This is an excellent piece by a person who does not write for a living.

Normally, I start these things out by saying 'My Fellow Americans.' Not doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not fellow Americans any longer.I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: There's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people. I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.

Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media. Polls show that the majority of you think the economy is in the tank. And that's despite record numbers of homeowners, including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners. And while we're mentioning minorities, I'll point out that minority business ownership is at an all-time high. Our unemployment rate is as low as it ever was during the Clinton administration. I've mentioned all those things before, but it doesn't seem to have sunk in.

Despite the shock to our economy of 9/11, the stock market has rebounded to record levels and more Americans than ever are participating in these markets. Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.We face real threats in the world.

Don't give me this 'blood for oil' thing. If I were trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell. And don't give me this 'Bush Lied; People Died' crap either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.

Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me. Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named 'Clinton' established that policy. Bet you didn't know that, did you? Now some of you morons are considering another and more evil Clinton for president !!!! Go figure that one!! You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to out spend and out-tech them.

That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. But they are. They want to kill you, and the bastards are all over the globe.

You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11. But you're not. That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement, and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that. When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight.

I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor.' Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.

Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dang it, you might just as well FedEx a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.

In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times, USA Today, or on NBC News. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol or Dancing with Stars.I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.

I could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.So I quit. I'm going back to Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house down there (Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be fully self-sufficient for years. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too.

That means Pelosi is your new President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there are just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.

GEORGE CARLIN'S SOLUTION TO SAVE GASOLINE

Bush wants us to cut the amount of gas we use.
The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants!

That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down.

Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the Border.
When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq .

Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military.
Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it.

After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country.
He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.

This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves.

If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo.

Problem solved.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Under a previous order of the House, the gentleman from Colorado (Mr. Tancredo) is recognized for 5 minutes.

Mr. TANCREDO. Madam Speaker, earlier a gentleman who addressed the House talked about the issue of voter fraud, and he was concerned about the fact that there were States that were actually trying to do something about it using voter IDs in order to make sure that the person who is at the polls is, in fact, who they say they are.

Now, we may think that there is no such thing as voter fraud. The fact is that unfortunately there's an enormous amount of voter fraud. I recalled as I was listening to the gentleman speak on this issue, and I cannot remember now the county, but I remember hearing about a county
that sent out a notice to all of its citizens with regard to being empaneled as jurors. And of course, one of the questions they asked on this is whether or not you were a citizen, and if you checked that, then you were not eligible to sit on a jury.

Well, they then went and took the information apparently and looked at the voter information rolls, and there were hundreds of people that had identified themselves as not citizens for the purpose of serving on a jury because they didn't want to do that, because they were not citizens and they were willing to say so, and on the other hand, they had registered to vote because they also wanted to do that. That was okay with them.

Of course, this is in just one particular county, and as I say, I can't recall it now, but I just was thinking about that as I heard him because there are all kinds of things that are happening throughout this country and have been happening for a long time that attack the
whole concept of citizenship.

We keep taking things away from that idea of what it means to be a citizen, bestowing these same privileges on anyone who happens to be here. Simply a resident, that's all it takes anymore.

There are cities, of course, that call themselves sanctuary cities and allow people who are not even legally present in this country the ability to have all kinds of services, to stay essentially hidden from the authorities because

they have broken the law by entering this country without our permission, but they are given this special sanctuary status, and they were given not only that but a lot of other kinds of benefits. Recently, just as sort of the, I don't know, one of these I can't believe it's true stories that I hear almost every single day, something happened in Los Angeles that really points out again the fact that we are moving ever more closely to making the term ``citizenship''
meaningless.

Madam Speaker, the L.A. Times ran a story about the illegal immigration epidemic in this country and how much it was putting pressure on our most vulnerable citizens, in this case, those awaiting organ transplants. And they picked out one particular individual, a
lady by the name of Ana Puente who was here illegally.

She had already undergone three liver transplants, two in 1989, and a third in 1998, each paid for by taxpayers, in this case, by the taxpayers of California under a program that allows for any individual in California to be eligible for this kind of medical service up until the time that they are 21 years old. And if they are unable to pay for it, the State pays for it.

Well, when Ms. Puente turned 21 last June, she aged out of her taxpayer-funded health insurance in California. So what did she do?

She found out something very interesting. She found out that if she was here illegally, which she was, and notified U.S. Immigration and Customs of that fact, then at that point in time she would be eligible for the service, a free service. She would be eligible for the medical
service that she wanted.

Why? Because illegal aliens in this country are entitled to benefits under the Medi-Cal system. So when she admitted her illegal status in the country, her benefits were restored, and she is now awaiting her fourth transplant at taxpayer expense.

Madam Speaker, what this means is that in California, if you're an illegal alien, you're entitled to taxpayer-funded health care for complex procedures like organ transplants. If you're an American, you may be out of luck. How much money are we talking about? Well, the
average cost of a liver transplant and the first year of follow up runs about $500,000; anti-rejection medications alone can run about $30,000 annually. As we all know well, liver donors are also in scarce supply. In California alone, 4,000 people are awaiting livers.

It is amazing. We all know that the health care system is a triage system. Some things are allowed, some things are available. One of the things that should be considered is legal status in this country.

Senator McCain:
I received your presidential campaign letter today along with the enclosed STAND UP FOR AMERICA SURVEY so I immediately made the decision to answer right now.

Really I am not sure, but it is my understanding if there is not a check in the envelope a true politician feels there is “no” real future in reading the in-coming mail.
There is “no” check…..

You have several problems why American taxpaying citizens can’t vote for you, and I must admit this family is having a hard time making that decision. The conflict is not Democrat and Republican, it is to sponsor you are not even vote at all? Still “no” check?

The letter, the survey, made no mention of any illegal aliens or immigration concerns. In some areas it is the number one issue in the United States today. Speaking of today, the decision was finally made to not ”sneak” amnesty for farm workers, sheep herders, goat herders, etc., in the Iraq Supplemental Funding Bill. I found it appalling that the Senate Appropriations Committee would allow Feinstein and Craig to try and hijack the Iraq Bill with a amnesty proposal. This was insulting to American servicemen and servicewomen.

The facts are this, “What is the problem in Washington, D.C., what part of ‘illegal’ don’t the so-called leaders understand?” Is it fear of war with Mexico? Why is it not one of you presidential candidates are willing to discuss the huge economic impact that immigration, especially illegal immigration has on our nation. The immigration crisis that confronts our nation today significantly impacts many other aspects of the United States.

At the top of the list are national security, criminal justice, the economy, health care and education. Mr. Edwin Rubinstein’s report notes that 15 federal agencies are significantly impacted by immigration and stated that the overall cost to the federal government last year was 346 billion dollars!

Stop the rhetoric, American taxpaying citizens don’t want illegal aliens, unlimited uneducated, unskilled cheap labor, temporary or guest worker amnesty, desease, 50-million more anchor babies, welfare, food stamps. Stop all immigration for a year, give this country some time off, let America breath some fresh air and back on our feet.

I received the following e-mail two years ago, paid little attention to it, but now with our fascist government working 24/7, especially after midnight, to destroy this once great country, which of the following are not true?

With three socialist presidential candidates lining up for the top U.S. office what part of the following remarks will hold true in our future?

The Pew Hispanic Research Center just reported the U.S. population will increase by 142 million by the year 2050, which I don’t think the year model is true. In my opinion, it will be much sooner. What about SPP in yr. 2010?

Some of the following foreign brain trust say, “in the 20 years, Latino’s will be in control…..” Pew did say, ‘only 50 million will be anchor babies,‘ but I don’t think that is a problem, they will be taken care of, compliments of the American taxpayers. (America loves to give: "freebee's")

Are these just the words of a few extremists? Consider that we could fill up many pages with such quotes. Also, consider that these are mainstream Mexican leaders.

THE U.S. VS MEXICO: On February 15, 1998, the U.S. and Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country.
They booed during the National Anthem and U.S. flags were held upside down. As the match progressed, supporters of the U.S. team were insulted, pelted with projectiles, punched and spat upon. Beer and trash were thrown at the U.S. players before and after the match. The coach of the U.S. team, Steve Sampson said, "This was the most painful experience I have ever had in this profession."

Did you know that immigrants from Mexico and other non-European countries can come to this country and get preferences in jobs, education, and government contracts? It's called affirmative action or racial privilege.

The Emperor of Japan or the President of Mexico could migrate here and immediately be eligible for special rights unavailable for Americans of European descent. Recently, a vote was taken in the U.S. Congress to end this practice. It was defeated.

Every single Democratic senator except Ernest Hollings voted to maintain special privileges for Hispanic, Asian and African immigrants. They were joined by thirteen Republicans. Bill Clinton and Al Gore have repeatedly stated that they believe that massive immigration from countries like Mexico is good. They have also backed special privileges for these immigrants.

A Citizens View by Robert B. Murray

Do you smell that foul odor emanating from the halls of government? Everyone knows our government was formed by the people, specifically for the people, and is governed by the rule of law. So surely it cannot be from the “sweetheart deals” made between our leaders and their corporate sponsors, but there it is right under everyone’s noses. Our leaders have transformed the words “for the people” into “for the corporations.” We the people are no longer relevant.

At all levels of government ties to corporations have become so pervasive the people have little or no say in anything that counters corporate interests. Rather than protecting the people’s interest, government has become the willing partner to further corporate ends. The sole purpose of government, at all levels, seems to exist only to support business and their quest for greater profit. We see this by the constant push by government to grow our nation both in terms of more people whether legally or illegally, and the economy. There is little concern about the cost of growth as long as government and corporations share the wealth at the expense of the people.

Whole state departments are devoted to encouraging growth of their respective states. Nearly every facet of business has a number of large groups devoted to insuring they are well cared for by Congress. Collectively, the voices of business drown out the cries of the people for tax relief because government conveniently assumes we are responsible for growth so we should pay for it. Government also assumes that business needs tax breaks, grants, low cost insurance, direct loans, trade protection, unjustified special interest loopholes in the tax code, and other incentives or economic growth will cease. And, also, their own selfish interests would wither.

Our founding fathers created a system of free enterprise in which government was to stay out of the way of business. Unfortunately, government had, without the people’s consent, devised a fascist system (“the corporate state”) patterned after that of Benito Mussolini. The corporate welfare system is mutually beneficial for both government and business. The former gains power, while the latter gains greater wealth and also power to impose their will on the people.

No matter how you look at it, we the people are being scammed, fleeced, by our government to the tune of billions of dollars in corporate subsidies. Why should we be subsidizing ethanol production when it takes more energy to produce ethanol than we gain? Should we the people subsidize global corporations by contributing our tax monies to the Export-Import Bank, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the International Monetary Fund, or in fact any subsidies? It’s beyond comprehension why we the people must endure $4.00 gasoline while corporate oil companies enjoy billions in profit, while receiving subsidies.

When will government realize that our Constitution is our supreme law and act accordingly? The preamble says, “We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America..”

The chaos created by those of greed and power are destroying our Constitution.. It is time for the citizens to awake to the realities of what is happening by special interests, the desire for socializing the country, destruction and ignoring of our laws, and for each one of us to understand the consequences of our inactions to stop this assault on our sovereignty. Let’s rid the stench, now!

Opinion - New York Times - What Social Security Isn’t Meant to Do

Today The New York Times posted an "Opinion" article on how "disgusted" they are about the "SAVE Act" and what harm it will do to the immigration problem. The Times is so pro-illegal-alien it can't understand why aliens can't have everything plus, by all means, should not have to be a citizen of the United States to work? This comment was made.....

"the Social Security database is rotten with errors"

If the SS database is rotten with errors, what does THAT mean for the increased use as baby boomers retire? There is no better way to clean up a database than rigorous use, correcting errors as they are found. If you are a person about to apply for SS in a few years, when would you like to find an error in your SS records, now or after you've made plans to retire, quit your job, and will depend on SS to help you live?

All of this is simply the Main Stream Media's feeble attempt to justify amnesty. Grant illegal aliens amnesty (aka a path to citizenship, a way out of the shadows, etc) and the problem is "solved"; and the Social Security file, "rotten with errors", never gets fixed.The SAVE Act allows a time period for a mismatch to be corrected; and in most states a person can be fired, period. The employer doesn't NEED an excuse. "I no longer need your services" will do.

This was pointed out REPEATEDLY in the last NYT editorial on this subject in the comments section.What you aren't hearing is that these errors could have been well on their way to being fixed if SS and the IRS had coordinated carefully together and had informed people when their SS # was likely being used unlawfully. Most people find out about this only when they receive a bill from the IRS for taxes on money earned by somebody - or more than one somebody - using their SS # unlawfully.There are errors in the IRS database and in the SS database - I've had to get my own record corrected - and IF you are on the level, it usually doesn't take long to correct them.

Is the NYT suggesting that we stop collecting taxes and paying SS benefits until these files are 100% perfect? Of course not.

This is a non-issue. Pass the SAVE Act and let's get the job of verifying legality done. And let's let our legislators know that we want this to happen NOW. And let's also remember in November if they fail to do so.

In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a migration deal with Mexico was tabled while attention turned to homeland security. So the Mexican government abruptly changed its White House strategy and substituted a grass-roots approach that would focus at the local level, seek small successes, and build momentum for congressional action. The linchpin for this new strategy was to be the “matricula consular,” an official identity card issued by the Mexican government, which it wanted to be officially recognized within the United States.
This Backgrounder is the first detailed examination of the matricula issue. Among the findings:
* The matricula consular is useful in the United States only for illegal aliens, since legal immigrants, by definition, have U.S. government-issued documents.
* The Mexican government has launched an aggressive grassroots lobbying campaign to win acceptance for its matricula card from state and local jurisdictions and from banks, especially in areas where Mexican illegal aliens are concentrated.
* The objective of this lobbying effort is to achieve quasi-legal status for Mexican illegals in the United States without waiting for action from Washington.
* The matricula itself, however, is useful to illegal aliens only insofar as U.S. institutions are willing to collaborate with Mexico’s efforts to circumvent U.S. immigration law.
* While many jurisdictions have resisted pressure from the Mexican government, others have not; the matricula is now accepted by 800 local law enforcement agencies and 74 banks, as well as by 13 states for purposes of obtaining a driver’s license.
* Not only does the matricula subvert U.S. immigration law, it is not even a secure identity document. Mexico is not authenticating the documents used to obtain the matricula against computerized data files in Mexico.
* Safeguards are not in place to prevent multiple issuance of matriculas to the same individual; in fact, the INS has already reported finding multiple cards in different names issued to the same person.
* The matricula is becoming a shield that hides criminal activity for two reasons: first, the holder’s identity was not verified when the card was issued, and second, police in jurisdictions that accept the matricula are less likely to run background checks on card holders picked up for minor infractions.
* The U.S. Treasury Department has given its approval to banks to accept the matricula for opening bank accounts.
* The acceptance of Mexico’s matricula consular sets a precedent, making it almost impossible to reject similar cards presented by illegal aliens from other countries, including those which have sent terrorists to the United States in the past.
Early in September 2001, the Mexican government had every expectation that it would soon achieve its principal foreign policy goal — a comprehensive migration agreement with the United States that would create new guest worker programs, exempt Mexico from visa limits, and “regularize” the immigration status of the estimated three to five million Mexicans already living in the United States illegally.
After 9/11, public and congressional opposition in the United States to an illegal-alien amnesty hardened and made such a deal impossible. In its place, Mexico sought piecemeal changes, centered on gaining acceptance in the United States for the “matricula consular.” But Mexico’s new approach has become a direct challenge to U.S. sovereignty — by aggressively lobbying state and local governments, Mexico is changing America’s de facto immigration policy in lieu of congressional action. And it has been doing so while the U.S. government watched — or even gave its tacit consent.

December 18, 2005, The Idaho Press-Tribune reporter Ben Fletcher wrote: "If the Undocumented stayed out of Jail they will not be deported," he went on to say that Canyon County, Idaho is a safe haven for illegal immigrants......

I guess maybe now, you could say, Idaho might be a sanctuary for illegal aliens? Maybe?

YES TO S.2717 - ENFORCE IMMIGRATION LAWS

Re: America needs the local assistance facilitated by S 2717 to enforce our immigration laws.

To: Senator Craig:

We must secure our border, but we also need the interior enforcement that can only be provided by local law enforcement agencies.

State and local law enforcement officers are on the front lines of combating crimes committed by illegal immigrants, but they are often hampered in their efforts or unclear as to their authority.

S 2717 would clarify the authority of state and local law enforcement agencies to identify and apprehend illegal aliens to enforce federal immigration laws.

In addition, the bill requires DHS to offer training for state and local law enforcement officers and to compensate local entities for immigration enforcement expenses.

Every day, our state and local communities face the repercussions of a national immigration problem. This bill gives state and local law enforcement the means to work as partners with federal immigration officials.

December 18, 2008, The Idaho Press-Tribune indicated that Canyon County as a safe haven for illegal aliens. Most Treasure Valley Police Chiefs do-not feel it to be necessary to arrest and detain illegal aliens, which makes many citizens uncomfortable that law enforcement has no concern about invaders who have broken immigration laws, creating Idaho as a sanctuary for illegal aliens. We want protection.....

The federal government has ignored this problem too long. I encourage you to help local governments and all Americans by co-sponsoring S 2717.

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio for President

Sheriff Joe is a model of what efficiency and effectiveness in law enforcement is. He has an 80% or so approval rating. His 20% disapproval probably comes from illegal immigrants themselves. Considering 1/4 to 1/3 of prison inmates are composed of illegal immigrants, he is actually doing something significant to stop crime before it occurs by deporting these criminals. We need more men like him in charge.

The federal mandate is to stop illegal immigration, right? That is what "Sheriff Joe" is doing: All within legal ways. He seems to be better organized to do the job than the vast majority of sheriffs around the country, is that wrong?

He sees that his action gets publicity in order to warn the criminals that Maricopa County is not a safe place for them. Where did you get the fact that "Sheriff Joe" has ignored all those "thousand of criminal warrant"?

Although we are the fifth largest city in the country, we enjoy being one of the safest to live. We like that, that's the reason we keep electing him. Most convicted criminals today have a higher standard of living in prison than they had on the outside. Most prisons are like the Waldorf to people like you and I compared to where they lived. For a change they have clean, safe, air conditioned places to live with three well prepared meals a day, they're medical needs are provided, they can shower everyday and get clean clothes everyday. they can play games, use exercise equipment. For most, prison is almost like a resort by what their accustomed to. They just can't some and go even if they wanted to.

Sheriff Joe's prison is a bunch of un-air conditioned tents where prisoners sleep on double- deck cots, they're fed plain sandwiches, They're issued pink underwear to keep the prisoners from giving them to visitors to take home for them. All this is done to discourage their desire to come back once they are released. Now that's punishment for crime.

I've heard some people from both here and Texas state they would like to see "Sheriff Joe" run for president. Seeing first hand the improvement in crime prevention and his operation and results: And after watching and listening to the present bunch running for that office I'm tempted to join them.I guess you'd have to live here to understand the situation. Before Sheriff Joe we had a "byc" repairman for a sheriff (true statement).

When I moved here in 1974 majority of the population was white, now the majority is Mexican.

There is a stark difference between those people who are inspected for contagious diseases, criminal backgrounds and have been issued a entry visa.

People who ignore THE PEOPLE'S laws are illegal immigrants or illegal aliens?

In most newspapers the editors have been brain-washed or lobotimised, because they refuse to illustrate the massive difference between legal and illegal.

Their IS no exception to this rule. It is a travesty of our immigration enforcement laws! Neither political parties can be trusted when it comes to the illegal immigration occupation of our country.

More states are trying to enact strict laws for enforcement against predator employers. However, THE SAVE ACT has the teeth and packs the punch, to halt this pestilence overwhelming our wilting economy.

Very few Senators and Representatives have THE PEOPLE' S best interest in mind. The Democratic hierarchy have specifically been pandering to special interest groups, and very few have offered to co-author THE FEDERAL SAVE ACT.

AMERICA, IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP

Are Americans capable of understanding their plight? It has been said that most can neither do simple math nor comprehend what they read. That may explain why they do not see what is happening to their country, or why they do not seem to care. Yet, those with these basic skills also appear gullible to the propaganda they are continually fed. Is the answer, that the message is so desirable that they cannot resist accepting?

Now, who could resist such ideas as "more is better," "we are creating jobs," "diversity is beautible," "globalization is inevitable and we must adjust to compete," "cheap labor will reduce prices," "growth increases economic wealth," "we need growth to save our social security system," and "free-trade will boost the economy." They do sound inviting, desirable, and difficult to resist, because they so plausible. Yet, these ideas are causing our nation to disintegrate.

The drum beaters proclaim that globalization is the answer. If we expand to foreign markets, our economy will grow through the melding of our economy with the global economy by free trade, capital mobility, and uncontrolled migration. The result is an erasure of our national
boundary for economic purposes. The shifts in trade patterns have resulted in the loss of millions of jobs, contributed to declining real income and making the U.S. the largest debtor
nation. We have lost U.S. captial and U.S. labor cooperating to produce U.S. goods to compete against other nations. The result means that without employing U.S. labor these global capitalists will be unable to sell their products, because of loss in our purchasing power. Can we say the benefits outweigh the negatives?

If more is better, how can we ever resist having even more? With only 4.8% of the world's population we consume 25% of the oil, and 30% of world materials. We import more than $700
billion more than we export. We borrow $3 billion per day to fuel our greed. We are fast approaching the time when we will be unable to pay our debt, which now cost us $400 million daily to just pay the interest on the $9.2 trillion. We are told growth will get us out of debt.
If only we could grow faster, our problems would disappear.

The economist would have you believe that the foundation of our economy is growth. We grow our population with legal immigrants and illegal aliens as a means of maintaining our consumption-based economy.

Consider, the following and then ask yourself is this what you want for your children, grandchildren, or should we get really serious about controlling both legal and illegal immigration. Between 1990 through 2000 we added 32.7 million people; an increase of 13.1 percent. If we continue on this path our population in 2020, 2040, 2060, 2080 and 2100 will be 360, 460, 589, 753 and 964 million, respectively.

Agronomists and ecologists have a different view of population growth. Piemental and Giampietro (1994) indicated the U.S. has about 400 million fertile acres, and estinates are that
one acre of land is lost to urbanization and highway construction for every person added to the
population. They estimate that by 2025 we will be forced to cease exporting food in order to
provide for the increase in our own population or continue to borrow in order to buy it from other countries. We are already on the verge of bankruptcy because of the expanding population. Can we continue to pave over our nation? At what point do we exceed the carrying capacity of our arable land? How much genetically inspired food do you want to ingest?

Someone is suggesting that we taxpayers subsidize farmers to delay them from selling their land. When Joe Farmer sees the sign on his neighbor's land that says "200 acres for sale, $40,000 per acre," you can bet he is calculating. "Now, that's a cool $8,000,000 today, and I am 65, and..." Obviously, the state doesn't have enough money to compete. So, if you want to preserve farmland you had better seriously re-think the growth model.

Besides why are we allowing the destruction of this nation? Can we not see the damage being
done by the greed of some individuals and international corporations, at the expense of our environment, our economy, our quality of life? Why should economic growth be more important
than the happiness of the citizens? I do not need another exotic restaurant to be content! How
long will it be before our debt outstrips our ability to pay even the interest on the debt???
What then will happen to growth???

IDAHO: A Guest Opinion on Growth

An important topic is growth, including population growth that fuels the economic monster. Our Treasure Valley is not immune to growth, and as you well know we are suffering under the weight of our expansion. The legislature is having an increasingly difficult time getting the necessary funds to pay for all the things necessary to continue growing. Doesn't anyone have a better idea than adding more people?

Progress comes at a price for those caught in the maelstrom of growth.

Brainwashed Americans believe growth is necessary for the assumed benefit of higher incomes and the distribution of taxes over a larger base. This philosophy has accelerated the destruction of our God given heritage---the land.

We have lost 50 percent of the original wetlands, 90 percent of old growth forests, 99 percent of our prairies, and currently losing topsoil at a rate 20 times the rate that it can be replaced.

Obviously, our leaders are "stuck on stupid” if they believe that growth can be managed, regulated, or controlled while still promoting population growth.

How well are we managing growth? It should be evident that on a national level we are not doing so well. In less than 50 years we have increased our population from 150 million in 1960 to more than 300 million today. Eighty percent is due to immigration (both legal and illegal). In 1960 our debt was 310 billion; today it is approaching 10 trillion and does not include the 50 trillion in IOU's to social security and medicare. Millions of jobs have been outsourced. Much of our manufacturing has moved to countries with cheaper labor, because our government has instituted unfair trade deals. One must conclude there is a strong correlation, and no doubt a causal relation, between population and debt.

Taxpayers, not businesses, feel the pain when we add more lanes to I-84, add emission testing, build larger jails, provide drug treatment facilities, build another 100 subdivisions, and add luxury seating for those that can afford the view. All the while government encourages large corporations, along with their need for more cheap workers to come to Idaho, and do so tax-free? In this whirlwind we are continually in a state of catch up. There is never enough money to fund the needs that growth demands. In a panic our legislators use their only weapon; impose more taxes. And, who pays?

The Idaho Department of Labor, August 2007, says our personal income rose 9.9 percent in the Boise Metro area from 2005. The Statesman, in October 2007, said Idaho's cost of living outpaces wages. Eighty-seven percent of open jobs pay less than a living wage. An Idaho Community Action Network study said a single adult with two kids needs to earn $23.44 per hour to cover necessities. Not even the average Micron worker earned that much. Who pays such wages when illegal aliens work at near minimum wages and legitimize that scale?

Does it ever occur to our smart growth managers that adding more people to the mix increases the amounts of governmental services, increases the need for more infrastructures, while simultaneously increasing demands from our limited resources? Do they really care? Business and professional groups having a common economic interest in promoting growth, only fund the election of candidates that are willing to support their view. Once elected the officials reward their benefactors with incentives and subsidies that stimulate further growth regardless of the impacts on the citizenry. Remember, all growth has it’s limits!

Judge stops deportation proceedings against Danbury family because of anchor babies

A federal judge ruled in favor of the defendant and has stopped deportation proceedings against a Danbury family. The judge said that deporting Tereza Pereira and Carlos Lima would result in an exceptional hardship on their two American-born sons, one of which is an honor student at Danbury High School.

Comments:

Without reading the decision, this is a travesty of justice. The two parents are here illegally, those that employ them are violating the law and those that rent to them are violating the law.

All subject to fines and imprisonment.The "anchor baby" children are not American citizens simply because of birth in the United States because they are sons of people who are not citizens.
In the same sense, that a son or daughter of a foreign diplomat born in the United States, is not a citizens.

The rationale that their deportation would cause undue hardship to the anchor babies is a judge making up the law. Nowhere in the immigration law is anything like that remotely proposed. By the same line of argument, one could argue that parents who robbed a bank should not have to give up the money because it would be an undue hardship on their children.

I think this will be a very important case, and should be argued to the Supreme Court. It has ramifications far beyond Danbury and impacts millions of anchor babies born in the United States. I am not so sure why they will immediately get any green card, but note if the millions of anchor baby children are deemed citizens, then under family unification, a one-year old can apply for entry of its parents. In fact, a de facto amnesty.

The impact of illegal immigration, while having these touching personal stories, is an unmitigated disaster for American citizens. Ecologically it means going from a population of 300 million (far too high) to 450 million in about fifty million years. Economically, it will impact the poorest Americans and send states like California into bankruptcy. Politically, it will mean that Los Angeles will probably declare itself independent from the U.S.(as Kosovo), Reconquista will be accomplished and California, AZ, NM and TX will become part of Texas.

Those who are championing this open borders decision better be prepared to know what they are heading toward, if decisions like this are finally the law of the land.

On 7/7/06, Mexican American professor Armando Navarro, who has organized many pro-illegal alien rallies, was quoted in the Los Angeles Times as saying, "A new majority is forming. Everything will change. The White House will be within our reach. We might have to change the name to the Brown House."

The Meaning of Illegal and Amnesty…..Let’s Stop the Word Games, please…..

Entering the Unites States, other then by legal means, is a violation of U.S. law and is therefore, “illegal.”

Any foreign citizen that has entered the United States, other then by legal means, is in violation of U.S. law and illegally residing in the United States and is therefore subject to arrest and deportation for violating U. S. law.

Any plan that will allow people in the Unites States “illegally” stay in the United States legally, without being subject to arrest and deportation, is therefore an, “Amnesty.“

The McCain (Reid)/Kennedy plan, which allowed people in the United States “illegally” to stay in the United States legally, without being subject to arrest and deportation is an, “Amnesty“ and therefore, those supporting McCain's plan; granting “Amnesty” to people in the United States illegally, regardless of how they try to disguise the plan, it is still an “Amnesty“ plan.

Any plan that not only provides an “Amnesty” for those in the United States “illegally” but also allows a path to U.S. citizenship is not only an “Amnesty” for violating America law, but a reward for violating American law, which makes having that law useless.

A nation without a border is not a nation, therefore, any plan that allows a path to U.S. citizenship is not in the nations best interest and may cause the loss of U.S. sovereignty over it's own territorial borders, which will eliminate the United States of America as a sovereign nation of the world, which would therefore make advocating such a plan not only stupid, but close to being treasonous. It is not difficult to understand why the President and Congress want amnesty for 30 million illegal aliens, allow another 60 million of their relatives to come, and permit the other 40 million in Mexico to come in when the North American Open Borders policy takes effect by 2010?

But, what gives the President and the other misfits the right to destroy this country without our consent? Wouldn't you at least feel better if they asked for our permission? One gets the opinion that the people have given these clowns rights that are not expressly apart of our U.S. Constitution...you know that g-- d--- piece of paper that Bush refers to.

If not, why are we being so pathetically meek in our response to their egregious attacks on our freedoms under some guise of "War on Terror?" Is that not an act of terror to allow open borders? Help me to understand why watching football, curled up with a mountain of chips drooling with salsa, is more important than saving one's country? Doesn't it occur to "Joe Sixpack, or his fellow compadres," that if they want to enjoy their 3-4 hours of bliss they better start paying attention to what the government and the secret police are up to? He and his pals may have to work those hours in a sweat shop to pay for the chips and salsa, but not have the time nor resources to watch or afford the state controlled TV sets.

In response to the recent appearance of Sen. Barack Obama at Taco Bell Arena in Boise Idaho,
I sent a letter to Keith Roark, State Chairman of the Idaho Democratic Party requesting the following information:

I might add the letter was published in the Idaho Press-Tribune, March 23, 2008.

It is of great interest to me that 14,000 people would fill Taco Bell Arena to encourage the promotion of a most Liberal Presidential Candidate.

Candidate Obama’s agenda promotes immediate pathway to citizenship for all illegal aliens, while, at the same time, providing legal drivers’ license for all foreign nationals.

There are some of us in Idaho who are concerned his one word mantra of “change” is nothing more than advancing socialism in the United States..

All the above actions would make more illegal and legal persons dependent on the federal government at the expense of businesses and taxpayers.

Is the Democratic Party of Idaho in full support of Sen. Obama’s positions? Does the Party condone ignoring our immigration laws? Is it no concern of the Party that rewarding individuals who have compromised the sovereignty of this nation by entering this country illegally only serves as a magnet to attract additional unlawful entry? Will America be benefited by the forthcoming additional illegal entry of uneducated, unskilled foreign nationals?

As a concerned (Independent) American, I have concerns about the agendas of all the present presidential candidates. It particularly concerns me that people can be so easily fascinated with the charisma of a candidate such as Sen. Obama and, possibly?, be ignorant of his agenda.

I feel this will be a crucial election for this nation. I think we should all make ourselves aware of the positions of the presidential candidates. Thus, I am contacting you for clarification of the Idaho Democratic Party’s positions.

RESIGN LARRY CRAIG, PLEASE! NOW!

Whether Senator Larry Craig exonerates his tainted name is not the issue. Although many have extolled his value to Idaho because of his seniority for being able to gain federal dollars (read taxpayers money) for special programs (read special interests), the dark side is that he does not listen to the People. The majority of the People do not want more immigration, but less.

Craig's AgJobs bill is an example. When first conceived it was being sold as correcting a difficulty that farmers had in getting H-2A visas. It did not pass. Now, in its present form it grants illegal aliens the right to stay in the country, work in agriculture for three years, and then be given permanent status to remain. Then they are free to move onto other jobs. It should not pass. If Craig remains, by what stealth move will he use to get this atrocious bill passed?

The entire guest workers' concept is bogus, because it is a program that continually requires new workers each year to replace those that move onto higher paying jobs. These workers will be allowed to bring their families and produce untold numbers of new citizens of which many will end on welfare rolls. It will not reduce the price of products, but it will increase our population to unbearable levels.

Craig claims we need 500,000 immigrants yearly to achieve an economic growth of 3.5 percent annually, just so we can fund social security for the baby boomer's retirements. How will we then pay for retirements of those who came to pay for the boomers? Had Congress not continually raided the trust fund, this might not be necessary.

Economic growth is just like the "Ponzi" scheme of Social Security. You just cannot continue to add more people to gain more economic wealth without recognizing that there are limits to growth. P.A. Madison (www.federalistblog.us/ ) views it thus: "When one speaks of jobs and business needs along with immigration in the same sentence they are not speaking of American Economic needs or demands, but speaking solely of the needs of an exploding foreign population in the United States." If you can't foresee the problems when this valley grows to several million you are an ostrich. Is this what Craig wants? ; to have us live like those in Bangladesh, China, or India so he will be insured of his retirement?

Craig, and the other pro-illegal alien lobbies, are lulling us to sleep. They still want cheap labor and amnesty for illegal aliens and are exploring every angle to push it down our throats. Craig has made it amply clear he is pro-amnesty. The only real solution is to enforce the entire law, and send every illegal alien back to their home countries. If you dare believe Senator Craig on the recent crackdown, "That's the law. It's being enforced, and it should be enforced." Tell Craig and others, to apply that accurate analysis to all of the current immigration law? We are tired of hearing the "law is broken, " when you know the President and Administration have been totally negligent in enforcing our laws. They all want open borders.....

If he reneges on his resignation tell him he needs to revisit the birthright clause of the 14th Amendment, because he and his colleagues have misinterpreted its "intent"? The Amendment excluded children of aliens from becoming automatic citizens. Therefore, those granted citizenship by this misinterpretation should be retroactively declared as aliens.
Another new gimmick to twist the American citizens mind, is illegal alien students hoping to join the armed forces, a path to permanent legal status.

While you're at it, tell him to severely reduce those who may be included in family reunification, since they, Congress are working 24/7 to totally destroy America!

A Senator's first duty is to represent and support the citizens', not illegal aliens!

Is there no sanity in the Senate?

For weeks Ted Kennedy and special interests have been holed up with the President's men, conspiring to foist another amnesty on the American citizens. The current Comprehensive Immigration Reform is a scam based on lies. CIR is a fraud which does not serve the people of this nation. In fact, this amnesty will destroy unity and bankrupt this nation.

The Snake Kennedy said in 1986, "This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this." He might be lying whether it is amnesty, but he is right the 1986 bill is far better than the current S. 1348. Amnesty for 12 to 30 million illegal aliens will be much more devastating to the United States and her citizens than the 3 million actually granted amnesty from the 1986 bill.

If there is any similarity between S. 1348 and last years S. 2611 we can expect legal immigration to be expanded up to 3-4 million per year. We can only guess whether family reunification will be apart of the new bill. If so, be prepared to see the population expand by another 100 million in the next two decades.

There will be sections devoted to border security and employer sanctions like prior bills, but there is no guarantee that enforcement will ensue. How convenient, the Presidents, Congresses, and administrations will just ignore the law as they have for the past twenty years. If we are nation in 2027 I can envision that we will be having another amnesty for another 20 million illegal aliens.

With a government and Congressmen so willing to lie to the public can we really trust anything that they say? Already, the President is reneging on the Secure Fence Act. It has been said that only two miles out of the approved 700 miles has been built. If it takes two years to build two miles the entire fence will be built in the year 2356. The number of border patrol agents hired has been scaled back. They tell us that the number of apprehensions are down due to presence of the National Guard, or is it that the Border Patrol is afraid to make arrests for fear of being indicted for doing their job?

The government does not tell us the truth about how many illegal aliens enter the U.S. A report by the House Committee on Homeland Security reported, "Federal law enforcement estimates that 10 percent to 30 percent of illegal aliens are actually apprehended and 10 percent to 20 percent of drugs are seized. Therefore, in 2005, as many as 10 to 4 million illegal aliens crossed into the United States; and as much as 4.8 to 2.4 million pounds of cocaine and 25.5 to 12.8 million pounds of marijuana entered the United States." (converted from kg to lbs.) This is totally unacceptable. If this amnesty becomes law, and border security is ignored as expected, these numbers will climb and we will cease to be a nation.

We cannot afford to trust the President and Congress to provide security, because they have and are demonstrating they are not trustworthy. If we believe them we will surely lose once again.

We need a complete moratorium on immigration, with immediate control of the borders, and a policy to promote attrition of illegal aliens in this country. The latter can be done by enforcing current law and stiffening penalties for those that aid and abet, especially those hiring and providing welfare to illegal aliens.

Congress is finally addressing the issue of Illegal Immigration. Certain people are angry that the US might protect its Own Borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hardworking and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

[Don’t ask me to speak for the rest of my people who engage in other criminal behavior besides breaking and entering. I will operate in denial if you tell me any of my countrymen and women steal your things to go buy their drugs or their Miller beer -- or even just food because they are too lazy to work -- or even rape you if they find you are defenseless.]”

According to the protesters, “not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hardworking and honest, except for that breaking in part).”

“If you try to call the police or force me out, I will
[call you vile names like pendeja gringa and pinche guera and] call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there [in defiance of your laws and your sovereignty -- for which I have the utmost contempt].

AMERICA: By, For and of the People?

Dear Idaho Legislators:
As you know the subject of immigration is in the forefront, and if not on your agenda it should be.
Illegal aliens are an immense problem in the United States, of which I will remind you, Idaho is a part and shares equally in the responsibility of upholding our laws.

I will not go into all the issues regarding illegal aliens and their impacts on Idaho citizens, other than to focus on growth (both economic and population).

It is estimated that in the United States there is between 12 and 30 million illegal aliens.

Obviously, those who wish to minimize impacts choose the lower number, while we who tend to read statistics on border crossings, labor numbers, school enrollments, and other measures believe the true numbers are closer to the 30 million.

The population in the United States just topped 300 million, with projections of being 500 million by mid century and one billion by centuries end.
Bills before the United States Congress, if passed, will ensure this number.

In fact, the projections might be low if the President sees fit to up the number of asylum and refugee cases he allows, the number of legal immigrants is increased from one to 2-3 million, and illegal immigration continues unabated.

Top this with “family reunification” and permitting babies born to illegal aliens to become citizens, thus assuring they are all allowed to remain in the country.

As Frosty Wooldridge writing for NewsWithViews (16 Feb 07) stated, "As our numbers increase, our freedoms decrease. The more we increase, the more freedom decreases in every aspect of our lives. Where your commute used to be 15 minutes, it's now 30. Soon, it will be 45 minutes. You can think of a dozen more examples...

" Our astute Idaho Senator, Larry Craig, boldly declared that we will need 500,000 new agricultural workers each year, because they move on to better paying jobs. So, you can see that he believes we need a guest worker program to supply that labor. But, is there some fallacy of reasoning in this economic model?

As you look across the Treasure Valley you see thousands of acres of prime farmland being converted into big money for a very few, an enlarging government to accommodate a surging population (in the words of Canyon County’s Idaho Senate Delegation, “Our population growth has caused meeting rooms to become too small...”), increasing numbers of illegal aliens (up to 60,000 in Idaho, and growing?), and gridlock at every intersection (not to mention the drive from Boise to Nampa).

In light of this madness why is the State encouraging a greater population? It must be because current economic wisdom says we need evermore bodies to feed the economic monster.

This obviously results in the loss of freedoms and makes life less fruitful and more hectic for all.
Who really benefits from uncontrolled growth?

Surely, you cannot believe that we who live in the Treasure Valley are enjoying the growth in population.

Why should the general populace support ever greater population, bigger government, and the inevitable loss in quality of life just to satisfy the desires of a few to become richer?
What do you suppose it will be like when the valley is overrun by another million people and illegal alien gang members are as prevalent as those in Los Angeles?

Don’t you suppose you as legislators should think about the general welfare of your constituents rather than the welfare of those seeking ever greater profits?

Do we really need another McDonald’s or another Taco stand?

It is time to put the breaks on. It is time that Idaho develops their own stringent laws on hiring illegal aliens. Let it be known that illegal aliens are not welcome and will not receive any benefits.

Let it be known Idaho is not a “sanctuary state” and that they are subject to our laws...deportation for unlawfully entering the United States. Let them know that if they are caught a second time, it is a felony, AND THEY WILL GO STRAIGHT TO JAIL.

Tell the Federal Government that Idaho expects that they will enforce the laws they enact, will obey Federal law only if it is Constitutional, and laws will be challenged if perceived to be unconstitutional.

The State needs to tell the Federal government that the people have all rights not specifically granted to the Federal or State governments by the Constitution.

So if the Federal government will not exercise its powers under the Constitution to protect the citizens then the State should take the initiative and do so.

As a sovereign entity it is imperative or the entity will be nothing more than a puppet to the tyranny of a greedy, power hungry, federal government.

Dear President Bush,
As a resident of Maryland and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.

My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to Illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years.

I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year. Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as "in-state" tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.

First of all, under whose control will these five million so-called farm workers answer too.....

DETAILS: Fourth AgJOBS Bill: S-1645/S-2823/S-359 now S-237 enough is enough!

By and large, this is the same AgJOBS amnesty that was introduced last year. The AgJOBS agricultural guest worker-amnesty bill would reward thousands of illegal aliens with amnesty. Of the 1.2 million illegal aliens currently working in agriculture, an estimated 860,000, plus their spouses and children could qualify for this amnesty, so the total could reach five million or more. Most farm labor aliens are now doing construction/landscaping work full time.....

This bill would also provide amnesty for employers who broke the law by hiring illegal aliens.

To provide just one example, increased mechanization in the raisin industry probably signals an increasing trend in agriculture. Agricultural experts have estimated that with machines replacing humans to pick the raisins, labor demand will "drop to a tenth of the 40,000 to 50,000 workers typically hired today." Some growers have already stopped hiring seasonal workers (many of whom are illegal) in lieu of machines. I believe you should have considered important facts like these before supporting measures like S. 237, the AgJOBS amnesty.

There has been no congressional debate yet this session over a proposed farm worker amnesty and these facts should certainly be considered before "legalizing" upwards of five million illegal aliens. News articles highlighting increased mechanization in agriculture have suggested that there is a declining need for agricultural workers.

For instance, the switch to mechanical harvesting in the raisin industry has illustrated that, where 50 workers were once needed to harvest raisins, now only five are needed. A similar situation has occurred in the Florida orange grower industry. Increased mechanization will ensure that unemployment figures among farm workers will only increase.

In light of this, your support of S. 237, a bill that would grant upwards of five million illegal aliens amnesty seems irresponsible. How can we consider importing additional foreign workers at a time when current workers are facing increased job competition? Instead, we should be focusing on the Attrition Through Enforcement solution to illegal immigration -- increased workplace enforcement and elimination of rewards for illegal aliens.

The Idaho Statesman Letters to the Editor, recently (12-07-06) printed an opinion piece written by Jill Reese which raised questions for me regarding benefits provided to illegal aliens by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Ms. Reese wrote “The Bush administration has decided to abandon it’s pledge to leave no child behind. It has selected a category of children to abandon - newborn children, citizens of the United States, born to "undocumented parents," (illegal aliens) She goes on to say…”Undocumented (illegal aliens) people are already shut out of public benefits. One small exception is emergency Medicaid.”

My questions to IDHW are:
1) What agencies of the Federal Government, State Government and Local Government (American tax payers) fund Idaho Department of Health and Welfare?

2) Does IDHW receive grant money from the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (Catholic Charities, etc,)?

3) Exactly what benefits are provided for “Anchor Babies”? (An interpretation used by the courts to provide birthright citizenship to children born on American soil to illegal aliens.)

4) What benefits are provided for illegal aliens?

5) What is the cost to American taxpaying citizens of America in Idaho for all the above benefits given to illegal aliens?

On your web-site I noticed certain questions of interest in regards to benefits with regard to non U.S. citizens. However, when I attempted to access the “Frequently Asked Questions”, no answers were provided. Would you please provide me answers to the following questions?

In an article written June 16, 2001, Mr. Joe Guzzardi, an educator in Lodi, CA, and a writer for VDARE, he noted: “

I quote from the article; “The biggest boost for Mexico comes from our most preposterous law, the so-called “anchor baby” rule.

In late August, we sent you a letter describing our concern for the lack of immigration law enforcement in Idaho by state and local officers. We asked for a reply to these concerns, and to date we have not heard from you. Should we imply from your lack of response that you do not believe that illegal aliens are a problem in Idaho or in the nation?

It is quite obvious the Treasure Valley political leaders show no concern of the fact the invasion of this nation by illegal aliens is a criminal offense and is punishable by law.
It is of the opinion this Government is for the Corporations, of the Corporations, by the Corporations.

December 18, 2005, The Idaho Press-Tribune published an article written by reporter, Ben Fletcher, titled, “Most unauthorized illegals not deported.” Mr. Fletcher wrote the following; I quote;
“CANYON COUNTY - As it stands, most undocumented immigrants living locally will not be deported. A combination of policies, procedures, resources and inadequate incarceration space ensure Canyon County stands as a safe haven for illegal immigrants.
Federal agents working locally don’t shy away from offering an explanation either.
“For general illegal aliens, we do not have the resources to pursue it,”
said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Senior Special Agent,
Jeff Wolstenholme. “We do not have the manpower to do our job.” End of quote.

Surely, you are aware of the debate going on in Congress how best to resolve the issues regarding immigration. The House has been championing a "seal the border first" approach, while the Senate has chosen to create a literal nightmare by granting legality to millions of illegal aliens. It is our contention that our nation does not need to grow by 100 million persons in the next 20-30 years, or to a billion by centuries end, to satisfy employers desire for cheaper labor. Such an approach will be disastrous for the environment and the quality of life we now enjoy.
We could cite a multitude of studies and comments dwelling on the effects of an exploding unskilled population on land use, loss of farmland, dwindling water supplies, a general increase in crime, and ever increasing costs to support these immigrants.

We feel that if you are not aware of this danger, then you owe it to your family, and descendants to learn the facts. You also owe it the citizens of the State to protect their interests, and not sellout to corporate interests for private gain.

We are perplexed why Idaho's legislature is not doing anything to control the increase in the illegal alien population.
We believe that the Federal Government has not prevented State and Local Law Enforcement from enforcing existing immigration laws, and that these entities only need a mandate from the State to begin enforcing federal law.

We previously asked you to comment and are very concerned that a "no response" is the norm today from elected officials.

If you expect to be paid by taxpayers you should at least be willing to provide answers to their questions. If not, then perhaps you should consider another line of work.
As State Citizens, we are extremely tired of being ignored......

Section 1 of the 14th Amendment: "jurisdiction thereof"

Washington D.C. leaders must clarify 'subject of the jurisdiction'

A recent CNN Poll (June 8-11-06) revealed that 67 percent believe our government should deport all illegal aliens, but in some fuzzy logic, 54 percent thought that children born in the United States to illegal aliens' should be citizens.

Now, it is nearly axiomatic that illegal alien parents will not be deported if they have one or more children born in the United States. The problem stems from the erroneous interpretation of 'jurisdiction' by the Supreme Court in United States v. Wong Kim Ark (169 U.S. 649, 1898) of the citizenship clause of Section 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment to our Constitution.

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdicition thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside..." Although some might argue that the 14th Amendment was not validly ratified, but that is another story.

However, it was clear to the author of the citizenship clause, Sen. Jacob Howard, that everyone understood the intent and meaning when he introduced the clause. Howard testified, so even a delusional Judge could understand the intended meaning of jurisdiction, "This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers..."
Thus he is just confirming what was already understood to be the national "law of the land."

In other words, it was not enough to be born within the borders of the United States or territories. A few years later Sen. James Kelly corroborated the meaning when he said, "In order to be a citizen of the United States, he must have not only been born within the United States, but born within the allegiance of the United States."

Sen. Lyman Trumbull remarked May 30, 1866, that the jurisdiction clause includes those 'not owing alleglance to anybody else... "Therefore, jurisdiction refers to political jurisdiction in the sense of allegiance and not simply subject to the laws of the United States. All visitors are subject to our laws.

Those advocating birthright citizenship based on geography need to realize this right under the 14th Amendment did not extend to Native Americans, who at the time held allegiance to the tribe rather than the United States. So why should children of illegal aliens become citizens?

Consequently, there is only one way for an alien, including children of aliens, to come under the jurisdiction of the United States, and that is through the process of our naturalization laws.
This process requires that a person renounce all allegiance to his or her country of origin, which in effect brings the alien under the jurisdiction of the United States. Therefore, only a citizen can make a citizen by childbirth; all others require naturalization.

If we are going to use the 14th Amendment as a basis for citizenship, Congress must absolutely clarify the meaning of "subject to the jurisdiction" as based on the original intent and as ratified by the states before continuing debate on immigration reform.

Please explain if this information is true. The following I understand is installed in Senate Bill S.2611The work requirement for a blue card can be satisfied in a matter of hours. Under the AgJOBS component of the substitute, illegal alien agricultural workers who have worked 150 “workdays” in agriculture over the last 2 years will receive a “blue card,” allowing them to live and work permanently in the U.S. However, because current law defines an agricultural “workday” as 1 hour of work per day—the bill language restates that definition on page 397—an alien who has worked for as little as 150 hours—there are 168 hours in a week—in agriculture over the last 2 years will qualify for a blue card. WOULD THIS BE A TRUE STATEMENT?

Blue card aliens can only be fired for just cause, unlike an American citizen worker who is likely under an employment at will agreement with the agricultural employer.No alien granted blue card status may be terminated from employment by any employer during the period of blue card status except for just cause.Because blue card aliens are not limited to working in agriculture, this employment requirement will follow the alien at their second and third jobs as well. The bill goes as far as setting up an arbitration process for blue card aliens who allege they have been terminated without just cause. So the above is not AgJOBS, the alien is available for any job, plus all benefits, food stamps, welfare, education, medical care plus dual citizenship, at the expense of the American taxpayer! COULD THE ABOVE BE A TRUE STATEMENT?

Furthermore, the bill requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to pay the fee and expenses of the arbitrator. American citizens do not have a right to this arbitration process, why are we setting up an arbitration process for blue card aliens paid for by the American taxpayer. Regarding free legal counsel, the AgJOBS amendment goes further than paying for arbitrators, it also provides free legal counsel to illegal aliens who want to receive this amnesty.
As I understand the illegal alien gets free legal council whether he seeks amnesty or just stays here as an illegal alien. COULD THE ABOVE BE A TRUE STATEMENT?

The AgJOBS amendment specifically states that recipients of “funds under the Legal Services Corporation Act” shall not be prevented “from providing legal assistance directly related to an application for adjustment of status under this section.” Interestingly, page 414 of the bill requires the alien to have an attorney file the application for him. Not only will AgJOBS give amnesty to 1.5 million illegal aliens, it would have the American taxpayer pay the legal bills of those illegal aliens. This is unbelievable and unacceptable.
COULD THE ABOVE BE A TRUE STATEMENT?

We should not be rewarding illegal aliens who break our laws with free legal counsel and a direct path to citizenship.

Mr. Craig, do you actually feel the above is fair for American Taxpaying Citizens to support corporation so-called leaders with uneducated, unskilled labor? I was so p.o. after reading what the Senate has accomplished in their rush to get us a guest worker program I wrote the following:

"President Bush and the Senate are determined to transform the United States into a corporate state. The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (CIRA, S. 2611), if enacted, will allow 103-217 million legal immigrants to enter the U.S. over the next 20 years. Great for a corporate CEO who will enhance his fortunes at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer.

Granting citizenship provides eligibility to welfare programs like the Earned Income Credit, food stamps, medicaid, and temporary assistance to needy families. Our corporate friends will reap the benefits of new customers, while we taxpayers will pay for their presence.

Robert Rector, Heritage Foundation, estimated that granting citizenship to 85 percent of the current estimated 9-10 million illegal aliens would increase net federal fiscal costs by $16 billion per year.

The Center for Immigration Studies estimated that the federal costs of granting amnesty for only 3.8 million illegal alien households would be $19 billion per year.
Let’s expand this to the 217 million, which would result in 21.7 X $16 billion to equal a total of $347.2 billion (in current dollars) in the year 2026.
When the masses can no longer pay for such entitlements, the feudal lords will terminate such programs.

The supply of labor will be so large that wages will plummet to all time lows. The middle class will disappear and the nation will be a two class society; the rich and the poor.
The goal of the elite will have been achieved.
All those nice $250,000 houses will be foreclosed, because the owner’s cannot afford the monthly payment.
On the bright side, perhaps our corporate masters will be kind and allow our families room and board in lieu of wages. To survive we will gladly comply.

Consider Cheap Tomatoes

This email is from a retired former teacher friend whose wife is a teacher in the Riverside area, and has been for many, many years.

The attached is first hand knowledge...As you all listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration there are some things that you should be aware of.
As most of you know my wife is in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at large southern California high school, which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socio-economic and income levels. Most of the schools you are hearing about—South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc.—where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.

My wife tells me that 100% of the students in her school and other Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast, free lunch program. When I say free breakfast I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll...but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten.
She estimates that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight.

About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for baby-sitters or having family watch their kids.

She was ordered to spend $700,000 on her department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; her budget was already substantial. She ended up buying new computers for their computer learning center; half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America.

She has had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less then 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them “Pu tas”—whores—and throwing things that the teachers were in tears.
Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc., etc., etc.

Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?

To my conservative friends: I hope you're really proud of how George W. Bush has helped to sell-out this country with his pro-illegal policy. I voted for him too, but on this issue he is a disaster.

To my bleeding-heart liberal friends who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs. Higher insurance, Medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc., etc. For me,

I'll pay more for tomatoes.We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will leave and return voluntarily? There are many hardworking Hispanic/American citizens that contribute to our country and many that I consider my true friends. We should encourage and accept those Hispanics who have done it the right and legal way.

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate ... and an American culture that has become so weak and politically correct that we don't have the will to do anything about it.

The Honorable Senator Michael Crapo:

Senator Crapo, your remarks to reporter Mike Butts, Idaho Press-Tribune, 18 April 2006, "Crapo backs 'sensible' guestworker plan," shows that you do not truly understand or care what your Idaho constituents want. I am angry and disgusted with your capitulation to pro-illegal alien employers.

“Crapo said most input he has received from Idaho voters on the issue supports strong enforcement of immigration laws.”

The truth is that we want our government to stop all illegal entry. We want all 20 million illegal aliens to return to their countries of origin. We do not want a guest-worker program of any form. We want legal immigration, including asylees and refugees, to be lowered from the current 1 million to 200,000 per year. We want our federal government to enforce the current immigration laws. We want the federal government to stop “aiding and abetting illegal aliens” by funding all groups advocating illegal alien rights and providing convenient loopholes in laws so that employers are not responsible for their hiring practices. We want citizenship for children of illegal aliens to be revoked. We want a repeal of family reunification laws. We want our government to be honest with, and for its citizens and not be shills for corporate entities.

You continue to stress we are a nation of immigrants (which is not true) and a nation of law (which is only partially true according to which laws the feds choose to enforce). The majority of American citizens were born here and were not immigrants. We as a nation have the right to decide who and how many can come here. We do not want to increase our population to rival that of China and India. The massive amnesty being proposed will destroy this nation. If we are a nation of laws then why has not the nation enforced their immigration laws? Enforcement is practically non-existent, and only on rare occasions does the government make a show of enforcement of immigration law. The laws are not broken, they are being ignored or subverted by government officials charged with enforcement.

You want a guest worker program, but past experience has shown that guests are not "guests" but become permanent residents. There is no control on their children becoming citizens, and thus parents are never asked to leave. Once permanent they then can start sending for their relatives and jump on the welfare band wagon. Why call it a guest worker program. . . that’s just b.s. It is a welfare program for foreigners and employers. This is just another government scam to give employers greater profits, while showing no regard for the citizens who must shoulder the costs and endure the pain of massive population impacts. You cannot be ignorant of the fact it is the citizens who do not benefit from massive immigration whether it be legal or illegal. You and your elitist collegues can hide behind the walls of your gated communities, jet off to remote locations to avoid the crowds, while the public suffers your rewards.

Do you honestly think that “we the people” actually believe you will enforce future immigration laws? Look what happened after the promises made in 1965 and 1986. For once do what is right and enforce current immigration law and let the illegal aliens know there are “no safe havens” anymore. If you really wanted to be a leader you would act to enforce our laws and do what is necessary to insure the government inspected documents and hold employers responsible for their hiring practices! You would insure that all illegal aliens knew they will be deported and not allowed to return if they don't leave within the next six months. Surely that is not too difficult of a concept, especially when it was promised by your esteemed predecessors in Congress.

Remember you took an oath of office to obey, defend, and protect the Constitution and that you have no right to give away my country to a horde of invaders and force me to pay for the invasion. If you don't comprehend my views expressed above, then perhaps you will understand why I and many others will not vote for you should you dare run again. I am sure you will understand after the election that we the people are serious and will no longer tolerate being conned by elected officials.
